• New Zealand Jain Sangh consists of nearly 110-120 Jain families mainly based in Auckland.
  • There are numbers of dedicated Jains who are on Student Visa as well.
  • Majority families have migrated to NZ, in around 2002 and gradually settled here
  • Most families are working families with 1-2 kids
  • Nearly 18 families are dedicated in current Volunteer Team.

What we do?


  • Currently we have lease of commercial place at 44/F, New Lynn, Auckland called as Jain Religious Centre
  • We are registered Charitable Entity in New Zealand
  • Periodic Samayik, Snatra Pooja, Bhakti Sandhya, Weekly Poojas, Pathshala, Gujarati Classes are few of many activites we do on regular basis at our Religious Centre.
  • Celebration of Paryusan Pratikraman, Mahavir Janma Vanchan, SwamiVatsalya, Group Ekasna, Tapasvi Sanman also happens with majority of everyone's attendance
  • POOJYA SHREE JINCHANDRAJI MAHARAJ have visited twice to New Zealand in May 2009 and Feb 2010 and we conducted various poojans, pravachans for Sangh.

What are our Goals?


  • Nearly 10 Volunteer Team families are now moving towards Bonding of every Jain/Indian Family through various activities for all age groups at our Religious Centre
  • Weekly/Periodic Religious Prayers/Activities for community
  • Encouragement/Appreciation Program such as Meal on Sunday Prayer, Kids/Youth’s Gifts/Incentives
  • Religious Material’s Library for Community
  • Regional Language Classes for Kids
  • Youth and Kids Religious and Development Activities
  • Senior Citizens Support & Recreation Activities
  • Non-Working Women’s Career Guidance/Suppor
  • Low-Income Families Support / Guidance
